Jörgen Rabben – born in 1991, is a visual artist, Illustrator and DIY Activist from Umeå, in the north of Sweden.
Rabben works in an eclectic mix of multiple mediums. Though having spent his early life focused mainly on the solitary work of traditional drawing and painting, he later developed a great love for experimenting with different mediums and engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other artists.
Drawing inspiration from everything between folky low-brow- and Fine Art, to pop culture, to occult mysticism. Creating colorful pop-surreal dreamscapes, portraits, tattoos and sculptures. Using found materials and intuition, the artist explores the hazy line between the collective unconscious and their own private imagination.
