Jörgen Rabben, born in 1991, is a visual artist, Illustrator and DIY Activist, from Umeå in northern Sweden.
Rabben works in an eclectic mix of mediums, drawing inspiration from everything between folky low-brow- to Fine Art, moving from comics to mysticism. Having spent his early life focused mainly on the solitary work of traditional drawing and painting, he later developed a great love for experimenting with different mediums and engaging in collaboration with other artists.
A draughtsman and experimentalist. Using found materials and intuition, he creates colorful pop-surreal dreamscapes and portraits, as well tattoos and sculptures. Rabben explores the hazy line between the collective unconscious and the private imagination.
